ACEcelent Education & Migration is an Education Agent in Melbourne who is staffed by Qualified Education Agent Counsellors (QEAC). We have undergone the Education Agent Training (EATC) Course and possess comprehensive knowledge about the Australian education system and Australia as a study destination. Our Qualified Education Agent Counsellors (QEAC) are experienced and are kept informed of changes and developments in international education.

  • Secondary School
  • Foundation Studies
  • Vocational Education and Training (Vet)
  • Undergraduate Courses
  • Postgraduate Courses

If you are interested to experience life in Australia before you commit to studying in Australia, we can also arrange for a study tour. Generally, Study Tours combine English Language programs with cultural and leisure activities to help you to develop communicative and academic skills in a fun and interactive way.  During the Study Tour, you can stay with an Australian host family (Homestay) to gain an unique cultural experience. You can then decide if Australia is the perfect study destination for you.

The costs of studying in Australia depend on the institution and the level of study you choose. The list below gives you an indication of the costs for different qualifications.

  • School –$7,800 to $30,000
  • English / ELICOS – Around $300 per week depending on course length
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET) (Certificates I to IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma) – $4,000 to $22,000
  • Undergraduate Bachelor Degree – $15,000 to $33,000
  • Postgraduate Masters Degree – $20,000 to $37,000
  • Doctoral Degree – $14,000 to $37,000

To ensure that international students studying in Australia receive a high quality education, Australia has put in place systems and processes. Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions are governed by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and providers for higher education are governed by Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TESQA). These Government organisations are responsible for the registration and re-registration of institutions and the accreditation and re-accreditation of courses.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) is an initiate of the Australian Government to assist international students whose education providers are unable to fully deliver their course of study. In the unlikely event that your education provider is unable to deliver a course that you have paid for and (1) does not meet their obligations to either offer you an alternative course that you accept or (2) pay you a refund of your unspent prepaid tuition fees, the TPS will assist you to find an alternative course or to get a refund if a suitable alternative is not found.

Victoria Skilled Migration Program

Victoria’s skilled migration program aims to attract the best global talent with advanced qualifications, skills and experience that are critical to Victoria’s industries to be globally competitive. Extensive research and industry consultation on Victoria’s medium-to-long term labour market needs is done to identify occupations that are eligible for visa nomination. This ensures that the right people migrate to Melbourne for the right jobs to help our industries be globally competitive.

Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa (subclass 190)

If you have graduated from a Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registered tertiary institution in Victoria and studied for a duration of 2 years, you are able to apply for the Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa (subclass 190). This is a point-tested visa which allows you to live and work in Victoria permanently.

Assessment criteria for the Victorian visa nomination:

  • must be able to meet the minimum eligibility criteria
  • the demand for individual skills and expertise (and your prospects to securing a job in Victoria)
  • the suitability and transferability of qualifications, skills and experience – including any specialist capabilities – to the needs of Victoria’s labour market
  • Must be below age 45
  • achieve at least a Competent level of English Language proficiency
  • your occupation must be listed on the Visa Nomination Occupation List for Graduates
  • be committed to live and work in Victoria for at least 2 years
  • have enough financial resources available for you and any family members who are dependent on you
  • prepare a detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
  • complete a skills assessment for your nominated occupation

There is strong competition for Victorian visa nomination and meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee nomination.
